Fund Raising: Why social networks and blogging create stronger relationships with donors and patrons

Social networks are evolving from the mass communities of MySpace and Facebook to smaller niches cut from the same cloth. They are becoming online villages of like-minded individuals. In fact, by 2012 research suggest one billion people will be apart of an online social network. In this white paper, I demonstrate how art museums can use social networks and blogging to build stronger relations with donors and patrons.
